What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address. When you use TradeGlitch we store your trade data, journal entries, playbooks, tags, account names, and any screenshots you upload.

How we store data

Data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database and object storage). We do not sell your personal information or trade data to third parties.

Saved backups

On the Pro plan we keep copies of your journal in your account (Settings → Saved backups). Each backup is a JSON file containing your trades, accounts, tags, playbooks and journal entries. Screenshots are not copied into backups — they remain stored once, as uploaded files.

A backup is made automatically once a week, and you can also take one yourself at any time. A weekly backup is skipped if nothing in your journal has changed since the last one. We keep your five most recent; taking a new one removes the oldest. You can download or delete any of them yourself at any time, and they are deleted automatically when you delete your account. They are stored in a private bucket that only your own account can read, and are never shared with AI providers or any other third party.

AI processing

If you use TradeGlitch's AI features, aggregated statistics derived from your journal (for example win rates, tag patterns, and self-review summaries), your onboarding preferences, and any questions you type are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the response. We do not send your password, payment details, or uploaded screenshots to AI providers. AI providers process this data to deliver the feature; we instruct providers not to use it to train their models where such controls are offered. If you do not use the AI features, no journal data is sent to AI providers.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.

Market data

When you load charts or screeners, the symbols and timeframes you request are sent to our market-data provider to retrieve candles. No personal information accompanies these requests.

Retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account yourself at any time from Settings → Danger zone — this immediately removes your profile, trades, journals, notes, uploaded files, and all saved backups, from production systems, and cancels any active subscription. Residual copies in our own encrypted infrastructure backups are purged within 30 days. You may also request deletion by contacting us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication only. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. We do use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure page views and load performance; both are cookieless, collect no personally identifying information, and do not track you across other sites.
